Secret Ghosts Live Debut

Secret Ghosts will be debuting live on January 10th, 2015 at The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain, MA. Also performing that night will be The Sharp Shadows, Kiirstin Marilyn, and TOTEM. The plan is to have the debut SG album available that day as well, so things are in high gear over here. Mark your calendar and come join us.

Updates & New Releases

Sometime in the not too distant future there will be some site changes to better reflect that the site is representing a label, Hogtrophonic, and not just one of the artists on said label. Not sure exactly how that’ll play out, but it’s been a long time coming.

During the unintended lull on the site, there have been quite a few releases that have popped up…

The Binary Signals EP Series and Binary Signals Album from Robert Ferent. The 3 EPs & LP are all available digitally in the format of your choosing at whatever price you desire (including free). 00110001 | 00110010 | 00110011 | Binary Signals

Additionally, Robert also issued a Free EP/LP “To Mountains Ascend (A Prologue)” in honor of Brian Eno’s 65th Birthday.

Also, there’s a new Semi-Acoustic 4 Track EP from TOTEM, “friends”, which features Gary Alex’s recent Basement recording sessions. The CDs were given away at a recent TOTEM live show, but you can download it online from TOTEM’s Bandcamp page.

And last, but not least, the debut single from Secret Ghosts, “Plasm / Nightshade” is now available for download ( a short run physical version will come down the pipe later). Be sure to check it out!

PS There’s an official Hogtrophonic Facebook Page & Soundcloud Page now. Check them out, too!

New Album: “Blood Perfect”

“Blood Perfect” is a new dark ambient album, similar in vein to a few of my earlier albums (“Prayers”, “Inside The Machine” and “We Will Walk In This New Light Together”). Still tweeking/adding/changing, but the album will definitely be completed and first available at my November 24th performance at Church.

Post Show Thanks / “In Tribute” Now Available

Sincerest thanks to everyone who made it out on a Thursday night to catch me perform at Church of Boston. I know work nights can be difficult. Special thanks to Max @ Citywide Blackout, Cardboard Mercenary, Satellite’s Fall & TOTEM for putting on a wonderful show. I’ve added a couple of videos from yesterday’s performance to the Video section of the site.

“In Tribute”, a special Lathe Cut 7″ Single created in tribute to Coil, is now available for sale online. The Lathe Cut 7″ is $15, and the digital download companion is “Pay What You Want”, with $0 being a valid option as always. Be sure to check it out.
