Winter seems to always get me in the writing spirit, so naturally I’ve been writing again & working on idea for live performance. So far, still on for 2012.
Looks like I’ll be playing live in 2012, assuming all goes as planned (and the world doesn’t end… although, this could be a sign of the world ending). Static for everyone. Resonate.
I’ve decided to release “Sleep” as is today in digital only format (physical version may or may not be forthcoming). “Sleep” is a Mini-LP (10 songs/30 minutes) that’s best described, I think, as “a short journey through the ambient static undertow.” As always, it’s released as “Pay What You Want”, with $0 (Free) being a perfectly valid option. Hope you enjoy it!

I’m pretty sure I’m content with the current 10 track version of “Sleep”, although I am flirting around with adding two recent pieces to it if it flows well. Either that, or I’m going to toy with what’s already there a little bit and use the finished product as my half of an upcoming split with Holographic Beast. Decisions, decisions…
I’m also itching to start a new album (I tend to have a short attention span for these things). Ideas come and go really fast in my head, so if I don’t just go & do they vaporize. I’m thinking “piano” right now, but who knows what that’ll turn into or sound like. Clearly, don’t expect anything structured
In other news, I’ve organized two albums with outtakes/extra tracks to be appended as the next thing to be hand made & sent out into the ether. I have a few ideas of how I’d like to do these, but I’m not sure which way it’s going to go. I’d really like to do some over-sized packaging with multiple CDs included (maybe using 12″ record sleeves?). Anyhow, more on that when I have something completed in my hands.
